Wootaek Hong, MAOM, is a board-certified acupuncturist licensed in California and a former U.S. Marine. He combines expertise, dedication, and a patient-centered approach to deliver effective care. Trained at South Baylo University, Emperor’s College, and D.Y.N. Clinic in South Korea, Wootaek specializes in musculoskeletal pain management and blends traditional Oriental Medicine with modern Sports Medicine techniques to provide personalized, results-driven treatments. Wootaek holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
In his free time, Wootaek enjoys resistance and weight training, reading exercise research, spontaneous road trips, and camping adventures with his lifetime national park pass. A former cross-country and track runner, he remains passionate about staying active and exploring the great outdoors.
