HAVEN’T YOU ALWAYS WONDERED ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE…
REALLY… WHAT IS IT ABOUT, WHY WOULD YOU TRY IT, DOES IT WORK?
FIRST, THE QUESTION EVERYONE ASKS…Does it hurt?
Who on earth likes to think about having needles inserted in their skin? We are so used to associating needles with pain. Would you be surprised to hear that acupuncture treatment is actually painless? It is! The needles are tiny, sterile, throw away little things that can make an unbelievably big difference in your health and your life. Maybe a tiny little pinch, and then nothing but…ahhhhh, relaxation, calm, balance, healing.
You’ll want to be a regular after you try it. We won’t be able to keep you away!
You should also know…
If you are being treated for PAIN, needles are NOT inserted where you are in pain. Instead, “partner channels” connected to other parts of your body are used. Most points are from the elbow to the hand, or from the knee to the foot. So simply roll up a sleeve or a pant leg, and relax.
Why would you try Acupuncture?
Acupuncture seeks to restore the flow of Qi in the body, bringing a renewed sense of balance, healing, and feelings of overall wellness for a BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.
The notion that you can walk into a health clinic with a problem and walk out, the very same day, feeling better already, and without a prescription in your hand, is almost unheard of!
Did you know that Acupuncture works for…
- Fertility (both Men and Women)
- PMS and Menopause
- Stress and Anxiety
- and more…
Acupuncture treatment is one of the many natural health solutions offered at Shani clinic.
What is Acupuncture?
Traditional Chinese medicine views health as the result of a balance between the complementary extremes of yin and yang of the life force called qi (or chi). There are meridians in which the qi flow through the human body. Acupuncture accesses the 350 points in the body along these meridians so that energy flows can stimulate certain areas of the body to induce the body to rebalance and begin working properly.
Illness is said to be the consequence of an imbalance of the forces. If needles are inserted into these points with appropriate combinations, the energy flow can be brought back into proper balance. Come in to see us at Summit Health Group and experience the relief for yourself.
Western societies and several other parts of the world view acupuncture through the lens of neuroscience. Instead of being seen as energy flow and balance of yin and yang, acupuncture points are understood as points of stimulation for the body’s nerves, muscles and connective tissue to encourage proper function. The stimulation of the nerve, muscle and connective tissue naturally increases blood flow and helps to release natural painkillers called endorphins.
